Chiang Rai Golf Courses
Waterford Valley Golf Club and Resort
Waterford Valley is a scenic 40-minute drive from Chiang Rai. It is a flatter style of course, built on top of a plateau surrounded by mountains and valleys. This said, it does offer excellent elevation challenges on some of the holes. The 6,961-yard course provides great water hazards and well placed bunkers. Waterford offers an exciting and challenging game for all skill levels.
The clubhouse features northern-Thai specialties in its restaurant, along with a great choice of refreshments.
Santiburi Chiang Rai Country Club
Santiburi was Chiang Rai’s first golf course, and remains to be a highlight of the whole country. Players of all skill levels enjoy the 6,853-yard course by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course follows and exaggerates the undulations of the valley in which it is set. It features rolling fairways and fast greens. The layout includes a collection of large water hazards, bunkers and trees. Choose your own difficulty, with several tee options and varied routes to reach each hole.
